Stefano Fake is an Italian multidisciplinary artist and pioneering figure in immersive art. In 2001, he founded The Fake Factory in Florence, Italy, a studio that has become a global reference for contemporary video art and immersive digital experiences. His work integrates video projections, interactive technologies, and architectural installations to create environments where the viewer becomes an active participant in the artwork .
One of his most iconic creations is the Immersive Mirror Room, first developed in 2001. This installation uses mirrors and digital projections to transform a simple space into a fluid and surreal artistic dimension, engaging both body and mind in an endless visual dialogue .
